1. Overview

Welcome to Bevri. Your privacy matters to us, and we take the protection of personal information seriously.

This Privacy Policy explains how bevri, LLC, doing business as Bevri (“Bevri,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you access or use our websites, software, mobile applications, borrower portals, CRM tools, point-of-sale tools, communication tools, integrations, artificial intelligence features, or any other products and services we provide, collectively referred to as the “Services.”

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Services.

2. Important Mortgage Platform Notice

Bevri is a technology platform. Bevri is not acting as your lender, mortgage broker, loan originator, credit decision-maker, underwriter, or financial advisor unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Mortgage companies, brokers, loan officers, processors, lenders, vendors, and other third parties that use or connect with Bevri may have their own privacy policies, legal obligations, and data practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any mortgage professional, lender, broker, vendor, or service provider you work with.

Loan decisions, pre-approvals, pre-qualifications, pricing, rate locks, underwriting decisions, credit decisions, deposits, refunds, loan commitments, and closing decisions are made by the applicable mortgage company, broker, lender, or other authorized party, not by Bevri.

Certain information processed through Bevri may be subject to federal and state laws, including, where applicable, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, state privacy laws, mortgage record retention rules, and other applicable privacy, consumer protection, lending, and data security laws.

Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising Opt-Out

Bevri does not sell personal information for money and does not act as a data broker.

However, some disclosures involving cookies, advertising, analytics, integrations, or certain third-party technologies may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under certain state privacy laws, even if Bevri does not receive money.

You may opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activities by contacting us at privacy@bevri.ai with the subject line “Privacy Opt-Out Request.”

Where available, you may also use any “Your Privacy Choices,” “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” cookie preference, or privacy preference tool provided on our website or within the Services.

Verification of Requests

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask for information that allows us to confirm that the personal information in our systems relates to you.

If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof that the agent has authority to act on your behalf, and we may still ask you to verify your identity directly.

Limits on Requests

In some cases, we may not be able to fulfill a request if doing so would conflict with legal obligations, mortgage recordkeeping requirements, security obligations, contractual obligations, fraud prevention, free speech rights, internal business uses permitted by law, or other legal exceptions.

If your information is controlled by a mortgage company, broker, lender, or other Bevri customer, we may direct you to that customer to complete your request.

9. Text Messages, Calls, and Promotional Communications

If you provide your phone number or consent to communications, Bevri or users of the Services may contact you by phone, text message, SMS, voicemail, or similar methods, subject to applicable law.

Promotional communications are voluntary where consent is required. Consent to promotional communications is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Even if you opt out of promotional communications, you may still receive non-promotional or transactional communications, including account notices, security alerts, application-related messages, service updates, support responses, or legally required communications.

10. Data Retention Periods

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce contracts, and protect our rights.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it is used. In general:

  • Account information is retained while your account or your organization’s account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, security, audit, or business purposes.
  • Customer and CRM data is retained according to the settings, instructions, contract terms, and legal obligations applicable to the Bevri customer that controls the data.
  • Mortgage application and loan-related records may be retained for at least three years and, in some cases, up to seven years or longer depending on applicable law, contracts, regulatory obligations, audits, or the instructions of the mortgage company, broker, lender, or other authorized user.
  • Billing and transaction records are retained as needed for accounting, tax, audit, dispute resolution, and legal compliance purposes.
  • Security logs, access logs, and system records are retained for a reasonable period to support security monitoring, fraud prevention, incident response, troubleshooting, and compliance.
  • Support communications, call recordings, chat records, and service messages are retained for a reasonable period to provide support, improve service quality, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Marketing preferences and opt-out records may be retained as necessary to honor your communication choices and comply with applicable law.
  • Privacy and data-subject request records — including the request, our response, and the actions we took — are retained as needed to demonstrate compliance with privacy laws and for audit purposes; after we fulfill a deletion request, we redact the requester’s contact details from that record while retaining a minimal, de-identified record of the request and its resolution.
  • Backups and disaster recovery copies may retain information for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law, contractual obligations, and our internal retention practices.

11. Security of Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss, or destruction.
